This was a joint project with Rob Holgate to make a nice little 60" f3f plane. We were keen on the 60" f3f meetings at the Bwlch that were taking place 2 or 3 times a year on a Saterday, the overnight stay at the Baglan with beer and curry, then a bleary eyed combat session on the Sunday were also part of the fun. The comps came to an end just as we had a set of moulds each for the fuselage made, we both made a token effort to do something with them but dont think our heart was in it. Mine came in handy for making the Burp fuselage, and still have a notion in my head to cut the tail down a bit and make it a 40-45" little ds plane for light winds, or even a discus launch hedge hopper ds thing. What I should do is just build it as intended, put a beefy spar in the wing and ds it in lightish winds, it would probably be fantastic. Guess I am waiting for the Dynamite to pop its clogs as it basically is the Dynamite replacement.
